Builds consensus and partnerships between the many vested stakeholders throughout a downtown to create a volunteer base in which everyone is working toward the same goal. Volunteers are coordinated and supported by a paid program director. This structure not only divides the workload and clearly delineates responsibilities, but also builds consensus and cooperation among the various stakeholders for ongoing management.

  • Evaluate current communication efforts & build a new communication plan
  • Work to create synergy with Village Council
    • Identify the Top-Five initiatives the Council would want the DDA to work on
    • Update the DDA development plan as appropriate
  • Elevate Friends of AMOS as an organization through fund and board development
  • Ensure compliance with the new DDA law
  • Focus on tangible improvements, small highly visible improvements
  • Facilitate Fund Develpment Plan adopted in December 2018
    • Create strategy to identify and apply for project specific grants
